~So, when the planes hit the towers and Georgie the Younger was screaming to send troops to Afganhistan, where did you come down? When Georgie blew that one and screamed about sending more troops into Iraq to deflect attention from his failure in Afganistan, didn't you agree? As I recall, vividly, I was part of a 1% minority who opposed it then, and I was condemned for my oppositon. Little satisfaction in the I told you so now.
Have you taken the time even yet to figure out why the towers were hit, why the folks that did it were justified in doing so, and why it will happen again because US policies have not changed since 1774, and aren't about to in your lifetime.
Don't whine on this site. Hit the streets and be heard. Better late than never. But, as long as such a majority of people can support such egregious, immoral and illegal invasions as the current two, no, we can't have peace and we don't want peace. Where there is life, there is conflict. Why should man be different fron the rest of the animal kingdom.

You've got more chance of finding inner peace than world peace-but we can always live in hope and with faith ya never know-the thing is to never give up on that hope
Until then-seek inner peace, it's a good place to start and maybe if enough people find that world peace will follow
Love and Peace

It is very difficult to have peace, one possible way is to educate people that religion is the cause of some of the wars in this world. Once we have eliminated religion we might have a chance towards peace

many would say that WWII is an example of how we can obtain peace through war. this is apparently a strong case; however, it does not seem to apply to guerrilla warfare or global terrorism, since there is a complete lack of localization. in this case, it compares more to municipal crime. unfortunately there seems to be this notion that you can somehow eradicate all members of this highly distributed group, which is impossible. the only way to fight terrorism is to stop participating in the actions that cause it, and police it in a global (i.e. non state-centric) fashion. yes, you will always have the crazies, but what is clear is that killing al-zarqawi or bin laden or hussein will do absolutely no good whatsoever if the roots of hatred for America still exist and are not addressed by our government.
levels of peace ~ justice. it is NOT correlated to retribution.

As long as we have religions, there will never be peace. You see, the only thing religion has accomplished is to divide people throughout the whole planet. I am spiritual, so I am not divided by anything nor is anything divided by me. This world will never learn. Too bad.

no we can not have peace within our own homes there is always going to be someone who does not agree with another person. Hey it is the basis of all arguments one person say or does something the other did not want them to.
