Singapore is not cheep my friend.
However I recomend the sting ray with hot sambal sauce, you wont be dissapointed.
Also high tea at raffles is a must. But don't use the phrase "kicked some bloody brittish ***". They hate that there.

sgd is like the $ sign it would read like this 1 bedroom SGD1300
it would be like $1300 bucks

I don't know, but here in Austin, Texas it costs about $550/month. We call that a one bedroom.
