when i search anything in google search engine, a menu of previous searches appears.How can i delete/close this?

Go to Tools->Internet Option->Delete cookies->Delete Files->Check to Delete all offline contenets->Clear history->OK

Highlight each entry with your mouse and then hit delete. Do this with each entry. Set your autosave history to 1 day or 0 in your Tools Options.

Clearing cookies will not help.
In internet explorer, go to Tools->Options->content.
Under that uncheck the Autoform fill feature and clear the ones it already remembers.

If you are using internet explorer:
-open 'tools' menu (on the top left of the browser)
-click on 'intrenet option'
-click on 'content' tab
-click on 'auto-complete' button
-click 'clear form' button

in internet explorer properties go to content tab then go to auto complete tab and click clear forms.It will remove all entries u have types before
