It depends on the legal frame of the country you are in. Most countries do not allow children under the age of 16 to have a regular job. However, a summer job or a part time job which is suitable to the child's health, age and mental condition may be sustained. Some of these jobs may be: car washing, delivering news papers, pet walking, reading for 4-5 years old children at some day cares.

Yes, I started babysitting at ten years old. Of course, there were not problems as now. The only job, other than babysitting, would be a paper route. That is hard and you never have a free day. Many times you will have to depend on adult to drive you because of bad weather and dark mornings when it is unsafe for anyone to be out. My son had one and I had to help him because I was/am an overly protective parent. Good luck

I know a 12 yr old boy who started to get job. And he continue doing his job until his adulthood. Now he became famous in the field of sports. Depends on the family income. in our country there are a lot of boys and girls working to earn money to support their education and every day needs. The govrnment cant do anything despite the fact that children should be in school and give protection against child labour. u can get a job that is appropriate to your strength and age.

I read about a 12 year old entrepreneur. He started at the age of 7.
A job in the sense of employment no, but he may employ himself in financial matters, yes.

Oh HON, There are bunches of ways to make some money. But you are too young to be hired by a business.. But check this out. You may find something you like..
Paperboy, lawn mower, run errands for elderly, walk dogs for neighbors who work, wash cars, clean yards, clean garages, trim hedges, yard work, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, sweeping snow, helping with groceries and so much more..
Wish you were in my neighborhood. I know so many people who would be honored to let you work for them..
Most older ladies don`t have anyone to do these things and would gladly pay someone they can trust.. I wish you all the best and go get er done....
Make up some papers or flyers ((by hand if you have to, later you can do it a better way)) with your phone number or a way to contact you and let them know you are out there. Don`t put them in the mail box.. It is illegal. But you can put flyers by their front door. Hang one in Walmart, the grocery store, Laundry mats, and lots of other places..
I admire your willingness to EARN your way. You are awesome and you rock too. God bless.. {:-)

No.
School is better for them and if they can't afford a decent life or don't have parents the government should take care of it.
Not until they're at least 16 they should work.
