They see it all the time, there is nothing wrong with it, as long as nothing is hanging out.

No. I also don't think it is appropriate to wear sweatpants or gym clothes to the 7-11.
If you are leaving your house to do anything other than walk your dog or otherwise get exercise, and there is even the slightest chance that you are going to be seen even briefly by another human being, you should dress in a way that shows that you have respect for yourself. Dressing like a slob makes you look and feel like you are not worthy of nice things, and it makes people look at you as though you were not worthy of nice things. It has a negative effect on your overall appearance and your outlook, and it causes people to make judgments about you (whether that is right or wrong doesn't matter - they do).
It takes 3 minutes to get out of your sweats/jammies/jogging shorts and into a clean t-shirt and a pair of jeans or shorts.

wearing pajamas to the convenience store of your choice is a bold fashion statement, and a great way to frighten the squares, as well as giving the pervs a thrill. despite what the fashion police would have people believe, pajamas are appropriate attire when the slurpee craving hits.

No, it is not appropriate to wear your pajamas outside of the house unless you are a baby/toddler, then you get a pass because it's not your fault that your parent has to drag you all over town while you are sleeping.

I think it's very inappropriate to wear you pjs outside of your house, unless it's an emergency, of course!
One of my friends did that once a few years back, only because she was sleeping over and I had gotten ill and she rushed to the only open place, the 7-11 near my house, to get me some first aid and she didn't care that she was going to be seen in pjs!

I don't see why not. If you are just running in and out. I guess I would want to know what your PJ's are. Definately wear a sweatshirt if you are a woman and not wearing a bra. It is not like you are going to 7-11 to work or pick up another person.

Sure why not. in college people wear there PJ to class. they even have a PJ day and why get all dress up for like 2 Min's that it takes you in the store. I have some PJ that look like summer pants. also long as you feel good with what you have on the go for it.

From what I've seen you would be well dressed. Another option is the drive thru store we have here called country coolers you just drive thru they have everything 7-11 has and you don't have to get out!

why not? I worked in a convenience store for many years, and people often came in their pyjamas, and I must say I envied them a little.
But my girlfriend once suggested a limitation when we were considering this very question... we wanted to roller skate to the 7-11, but we were also in our pyjamas. She was of the opinion that you can do one or the other, but not both.

Sure
They're comfortable...might as well wear them to the 7-11.
You should get a slurpee while you're there.
