Heck why not Grease!! I'm sure that hits home :p.

How about Shakespeare? Julius Caesar is historical *and* pretty popular :p. If you're into that kind of thing. Or maybe you'd like to do something a bit less political, (although I can't think of any historical non-political plays right now!), even The Passion (Joan of arc, not that movie by mel gibson) is quite a popular play to do as well. Or you could do the all famous Hamlet and the 'bubble, bubble toil and blabla'. (although that's not exactly historically accurate). Henry V is not bad. Elizabeth...i think that was a play. Oscar wilde...heck that ain't historical. All I can think about right now :).
