My friend trains horses and was stepped on and is in alot of pain. Will I get in trouble if I share some pain medicine with her? I have many Vicodin pills and some other pain killers can I share with her? Have you ever shared your meds with anyone?

forgot to say my friend has no medical insurance so she can't afford to go to a doctor or even spend money on medicine.

It is illegal to give anybody medication that they have not been prescribed. The reason is that if they have a reaction to and/or die from the meds you have given them you will then be tried for murder. I have had meds given to me but only what I have been prescribed before. Same dosage and same strength.

You will get in trouble if she takes it and gets a reaction such as getting ill or something bad like that. Then she can sue you. If you do everything secretly than no you probably won't get in trouble because who will know. If she got stepped on by a horse than she should see a doctor though if she can. That sounds pretty serious. My boyfriend has given me his medication before but I have a medical background and know what I can take, the milligrams, etc.

you can...if you dont get caught. it is illigal but if no one knows about it then do it...know that you are taking a huge risk though because if ANYTHING happens to her because of the medication she has the right to sue you. i would just recommend some ib proufin and if it doesnt get better see a doctor. maybe she should go to the ER, it could be broken...

What they don't know won't hurt you...Give her the pills. Just be sure that no one knows about it. It's really not a big deal, though. Unless you give her the bottle, with your name on it, there is no proof where she got them
