The mummification process if very different ,
Peru people didn't have pyramids , and didn't bury their kings in the deserts , and mountains like Egyptian did to secure the tombs .
The Peruvians used to kill all the women and servants and bury them with the king ,Egyptians didn't do so,
Peruvians also had used to get out the dead king and dress him in fine clothe and put him on litters , and carry him in the streets in some occasions , this didn't happen ever in Egypt.
Also Peruvians scarified children but Egyptians didn't.

The egyptian mummies are kept inside the caskets in pyramids.But many peru mummies are found in ancient cementries in the outskirts of Lima, Peru.

Peru mummies dont have pyramids.and some of the mummies of peru are kept open for public view..but egyptian mummies are hard to find..they are buried in a place hard to find..

The mummification prosses is grately diffrent....

I don't know much about the ones in Peru though so I can't give a point by point comparison.

Of course they were completly different societies so they probably used different ways of Mummifying
