Does a space suit keep one warm and toasty in space or is he just as cold as can be?

No space suits are worm, infact tubing has to be run inside the space suit with water running through it to keep the astronaut cool. A space suit is like a mini space ship, it is completly closed from space and there is now were for your body heat to go.So without the water filled tubing you would cook in the suit.

while there are automatic temperature controlls in the space suit, heat transported through radiation perhaps cause the astronaut to be slightly hotter?

The Spacesuits are heated, with pipes inside with water flowing through them to keep the Astronaut warm (or cool him down).

The temp. is kept 2 b of normal temp.so dat dey can work properly & aren't affected by da outside temp.

Its almost absolute zero (-273C) so I would guess it is heated.
