The object of life is to become the best you can be and to take care of yourself, family, and to assure society is better off when you are gone. Don't listen to losers that try to tell you that power is wrong, it is not. It's not the power that determines who you are but the make up of, with no better term, your soul. There are good people and bad people, power does not change that. Yes, your friend base may change and who knows if you'll have less friends or more, how many do you have now? The climb up the ladder is one that you as an individual has to make. Do not sell yourself short. Most people that come up with stupid phrase about power and corruption were never in power and were envy at the time.
So do what your heart tells you and not what other people tell you. We live in a society in which it's easier to tear down than to build up. There will always be people who want to tear you down so they don't have to work to get up where you are at. Don't let them.

The answer is wholly dependent on the person. With power comes responsibility. One tends to become far more mature in their approach to life in general, as well as their position. Retired military officer.

With gr8 powers come gr8 responsibilities...
how well u manage ur responsibilities is directly proportionate to ur power.. ppl around make u powerful.. n being powerful is a 2 sided sword.. it isn't easy ... u need to change ur certain ways of workin with ppl .. u need to be equal to everyone... u need to be democratic n lot many things ..
If u fail to understand the ryt time to do the ryt things... ur power gets corrupted.

Yes.
With the given authority, you have the right to be heard.
You have the power to influence even more people.
A good leader takes responsibilty but a bad one abuses it.
