You can bruise easily if you have been taking aspirin or prescription blood thinners. If you aren't taking either one and the easy bruising just started, I would see your doctor.
If you have always bruised easily, it might encourage you to know that some people just do. The women in my family - including me- bruise easily.

You could be anemic or a slight iron deficiency. Do you have other symptoms like fatigue, weight loss or gain, hungry all the time, etc? Bruising is also a sign of thyroid problems.

If you take Effexor, it causes easy bruising.
