Depends on the type of wood the Piano is made of. I would check the warnings on the back of the pledge can to make sure it is safe.
Depending on the type of wood you may also try Old English.

Hmm..I doubt it would do any harm.. Assuming your piano is made out of wood there shouldnt be anything wrong with using Pledge

NO!!
Do NOT use PLEDGE, JOHNSON WAX, etc!!
Piano finishes tend to crack and dull with age if you use these kind of products...simply use a damp cloth to dust them with, and they will be fine.
Ive been around a LOT of pianos in my life, and I've seen first hand just how much damage your 'normal' cleaners can do to a piano finish.

For many piano finishes, dust removal is better done with a feather duster than a cloth, which minimizes the abrasive effect of the dust.

Is your piano old or new? Depends on the finish. If it's a shiny one that feels like it's got a really thick finish, silky, like glass, don't. Just use a damp cloth and rub the fingerprints off. However, if the finish is rougher, use it.

Yes, on the wood is fine.. it should not be used near the strings though. It can damage the felt and long term of the strings.
