In Singapore, you need to sit through a test to obtain a certificate by CEHA before you can become a qualified housing agent.

Most states do have the preparation for salesperson's exam. If you want to be a Realtor though, you must work for an agency and have a broker and apply for membership through your local board of realtors.

Most states require you to take a state exam. To take the exam you must have some education. Most states have schools who specialize in such programs.
