Employer. One of the lessons I learned in management training years ago was hire people who can replace you. Being an employer gives you that opportunity. It's great to be able to give people challenges and watch them succeed.

Employee. I'm 50 now and just want to go along for the ride. I was the employer for many years and now I like it when someone else has to handle all the problems.

To me I wouldn't mind being an employer because it would give me the opportunity to show how employees need to be treated.
