I think a good father is willing to sacrifice all for his children, will take time to mentor them, love them, care for their needs, and make sure that they have guidelines for life. I think its much more than being a friend... the good father is respected and is a role model for his children, his children's friends, and other children in the neighborhood. He builds a relationship of trust with his children, and encourages them to make good choices. He looks out for the needs of the family and loves his wife.

A good father is a man that, no matter how tired he is at the end of the day, he comes home and spends time with his children. It doesn't have to be hours. Mere minutes can be quality time.
