Circumference is 25,000 miles. the diameter is about 7,950 miles, just under 8,000 miles (the earth isn't quite a sphere, it is a little pudgy at the equator, so the diameter varies slightly for our "oblique spheroid" which isn't a perfect sphere).

the circumference of the earth
at the equator is 24,902 mi / 40,076 km
The diameter of the earth is about 12,700 kilometers (7,800 miles). If you drilled the tunnel straight through the center and could create a vacuum inside, anything you dropped into the tunnel would reach the other side of the planet in just 42 minutes!

the earth is 8000 miles through the middle (diameter) and 25 000 miles around ( circumference)
it is flat like a PIZZA too but many people do not believe this any more( until they fall off the edge but then it is too late and they never come back to tell anyone)
the air is only 5 miles thick so do not go up too high. it is like the crust on a very thick pie
