you can sleep in them so ur foot gets used to it before walking up and down or try taking out the insoles so they're a bit roomier

They sell shoe tree's at Bed Bath and Beyond. You insert the foot shape into the shoe and twist it wide, then you twist it again each day for three days. Take the shoe tree out and try them on. If is isn't enough, then wet them and try again but this time, leave the shoe where it will dry, like in the sun.

wow i've been wearing them for years and never had a problem! wet the shoe and heat it with a hairdryer, then put your foot in and see if the canvas molds to your foot better.
if the problem is in your heel..
you can also break apart the little rubber pieces around the heel. they crack after a while, so usually they end up removed anyway. just tear away the outer layer and you'll see the rubber, just cut it out. you can't tell from the outside.

Keep bending them and beat them aganist something, like a wall. Sort of like how a dancer breaks in pointer shoes.

have your sister wear them to break them in! lol, or even a friend. if not just wear them EVERYWHERE you go (comfy socks will help)...also try bending and stretching them with your hands a few times every day...that should help
