yes, definitely.. plus the impact of it is underestimated, under reported and under funded for study. The particles, we emit form a cloud over our major metropolitan areas that actually keep us relatively cooler. It was studied in the days after 9/11, when for the first time their were no planes in the skys for days. The "trails" you see emitted by aiplanes are just a huge example of said particles, but have a great cumulative effect. which blocks out light an heat.

we are doing a better job with emissions controls in the last ten years. But as we are doing away with the bad particles,we are seeing big changes in temperatures... coincindentally the last 10 years?

No, it doesn't worry me a bit. It is a greatly over used excuse to make people want to do something about our environment. Sure we should want to protect forests, wildlife, and nature in general, but not because we are worried out global warming.

Did you know that they have found, through various studies, that 14% of methane gas (which has 23 times the warming potential of CO2 gas) comes for cows. Yes, those things we eat in hamburgers. Now I am not going to say this is 100% fact, but it just goes to show what some scientist view as fact, may be disproved at a later date. Unless there is something of dire consequence that can be proven, not a theory, why worry?

It did in the past; it does not now. These are the reasons why:

The planet has undergone many shifts from warm spell to ice age and back in the past. The current warming may be due as much to natural events as to human activities. Most of the studies I have read contain great technical flaws and faulty assumptions.

The increase in greenhouse gases, but especially carbon dioxide, is also changing the life in the oceans. Currently it seems to promote marine plants and shellfish.

The fact that most of the carbon on earth is currently found in rocks and minerals (especially those like limestone that are formed from compressed sea shells) should tell us something about the huge amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in earlier times which is not understood.

Nature adapts. Human adapt. As long as I see reports of rain forests being cut and burned, cement manufacture at an all time high and ignorant Americans driving their SUV's, I would say that whatever happens to us as a species is probably deserved.

Indeed, if humans are in control, we are doomed. If Divinity is in control, we have nothing to worry about.

Absolutely!!! The more we don't pay attention to this fact of what we are doing to our planet, the more affects we are going to see now, and for days, weeks, months, & years to come. Meaning??? Bigger disasters....i.e. Tornados, Hurricanes, Floods, drought ( in other places) we will experience a complete shift of inbalance in weather we will ever see, and have yet to see........
