I doubt it.
I have never read the book (I read more challenging and interesting literature, not fodder for the masses), but I can tell you the entire plot of the movie from the trailers.
I don't think you have to be a rocket scientist to understand that one.....

well if you know who jesus and mary magdalene are then you don't have to read the book just to understand the movie
