I got shot in the leg a few hours ago by the police, I can't go to the hospital or they'll catch me. It's not bleeding anymore, but how do I get the bullet out? It didn't go through, But it feels like it's next to the bone. Is it best to just leave it in? It hurts like a MF. Any help would be appreciated. But please don't waste my time or yours by suggesting the hospital.

Well, I think that you need to get the bullet out! It's crazy they shot at you-- that is bad! You need to definately get the bullet out & save it as a souvenieer! Good luck!! ouch!!

It sounds like you don't have nearly enough medical experience to do something like that. You need to be smart and turn yourself in for whatever it is you did, or you'll just make things worse on yourself. You may not have wanted to hear this, but the best help you're going to receive is from the hospital. Otherwise, your injury will most likely just get infected, and you risk losing your leg, or worse.
EDIT: In response to your additional details, I can only say you should have thought seriously about the consequences before you pulled whatever dumb stunt it is you did. You may go to jail for life, but at least you'll be alive, and have a chance at some kind of redemption for your mistakes.
For your own sake, I sincerely hope they catch you, and that you live to see another day.

Honestly, the hospital is your best option. You can use tweezers to try and pull it out, but trust me, you'll do more damage than good.
I once had a bullet casing explode in my leg. I removed it by pouring alchohol on the wound and digging it out, but it was a superficial wound. Yours could be next to an artery, or you could damage a muscle. I would advise against anything less then a hospital, but I am sure your determined to try.

Begin by punching the wound vigorously to help assist in the blood clotting process. Next, take a mixture of tabasco sauce and salt and pour it directly into to wound, making sure you hold the hole open while doing so. At this point, you should give yourself a paper cut to the inside of your top lip, and pour lemon juice in your eye. Voila!!! Just sit back, relax, and open up some suds. The pain will begin to decrease when you start to pass out from massive blood loss. Good luck!

I would suggest you call your friends. Assuming the people you hang with are like yourself, they might know of someone who had a similar problem. It is not good to leave it in, it has to come out. You really cannot do it yourself, there are all kinds of nerves, veins, muscles & arteries in there, you could cripple yourself. You need medical attention. As I said, your friends may know of someone who would be willing to do this for you without the complications of going to the hospital, but in the long run, you may be better off turning yourself in., depending on why they shot you.

Sounds like you will have to amputate. I suggest that you hold yourself down firmly with both hands while you quickly and deftly cut the part with the lead in it away from the rest of your body. It would likely b best to begin somewhere around the top of the neck. Any excess bleeding can be easily contolled with dirty rags and used tampons, nosense wasting good cloth on criminals you know

i m a doctor so i no about what you r going through plus i am myself a part of the mumbai underworld(A BIG FISH).Get a hot knife and slowly try to get MF bullet out .hurry or an infection can take place resulting to paralysis of the said organ or even death.

Go to the hospital. It can get infected and die but good question lots will answer.

ARNICA 200 and BELLADONNA 200 every half an hour will stop the bleeding and keep infections at bay.
