There is a program called ServerPro that can check your computer to see if your computer meets the requirements for Sims 2.

To answer your question, no your computer cannot run Sims 2. Your graphics card is not T&L compatible and your Processor is not over 2GHz which is required for non T&L compatible video cards.

hi Roan. do merely not project about Win 7. not commonly ever you'll come across a chunk of software which does run on Win XP yet would not run on Win 7. And about your hardware spec's, I guess you are able to set up Sims 2 hundred on it, how about Sims 2 !? ;)

the specs you have given sound like you are using a laptop there?
generally laptops dont have the graphics requirements in order to play a lot of the new games..however I dont know what requirements the Sims games need so cant advise if what you have will be enough to run the game..guess a good way to find out is to try and load it and see what happens:)
