Plated chains are not worth significantly more than the base metal chain. So if the inner metal is silver, it is worth about as much as a comparable silver chain.

Also, the weight of the chain is more important than the length in determining a basic value.

not alot.gping can be bought at flea markets,kmarts etc.i you really dont want to to turn color NO water. place it in a little bag with a piece of white plain chalk

if your granny is retired, chances are its not worth a whole lot
