Baby guppies only need to be separated if you have other types of fish in the tank. I breed guppies and do not separate any of the babies/pregnant mothers from the rest. If you put plants, the small ones at the bottom of the tank, it will be more than sufficient for the babies to hide. I dont even do that, and they are all growing just fine.

Until they are about 1/4 to 3/8 inch long, then they are too big to get eaten. If they are fed enough and not crowded, they will grow faster.

in six to eight weeks the babies will be fully grown and ready to breed. you can put them back into the community tank then. for faster, better results, vary their diet with live and dry foods.

Until they are big enough that they do not fit into the adults mouth.

all u do is waite till they r about half the size of the adult then it can join them
