I am a burn suvivor. Last year on fathers day, I was burn in a grease fire. I was burned 70% of my body...mostly 3rd degree. Its been one year and I am still having magor pain. I've asked the doctors but no one can or will give me an answer.

I've asked the doctors but no one can give me an answer. I'm on pretty good meds. but I want to know if anything other than meds. will help?

I understand you.I had the same problem,with 35 per cent burns
That happened 15 years ago Things will go better soon I wish you the best

First let me say how sorry I am to here that you have had to suffer through all this! My goodness, you are lucky to be alive. I myself think that there is a possibility that you will have issues of sensitivity forever but to lesser of a degree as time goes on. They most likely know this, but don't want to tell ya this for sure. A pain condition can be caused by a variety of reasons.Look up fibromyalgia in the medical dictionary and see what I'm talking about.

I worked with a burn patient, They had fantom pain for about 2 1/2 years some of the nerve endings took awhille to heal...he said the first years was te worst and after that it got better.

I know a guy who was burned a little worse than what you describe. He was told that it depends on the degree of damage to your nerve endings. Also, everyone's pain level is different.
I wish I could tell you something to ease your pain, burns are so horrible.

You need to start smokin the reefer, it'll numb it up for ya.
