that it is perveted for a guy to be older than then the girl?? i think that if you are at least 17-18yrs old your man can be up to 8-9 yrs older (which is still in your generation)... but it also depends on the maturity of the lady.. my man is 8 yrs older than i am and i love him so so so much, he means everything to me, i am in love with him and we are happily engaged..i would always dATE PEOPLE my age (before him) an they were so immature , unemployed with no life....i have known him but now that we are both older we started to get close and fell in love with eachother before being boy friend and gf.. i was looking for it but i cant help who i fall in love with..he is my first love. and i think nothing is absolutly wrong.

i asked because i was reading some questions and answers and most of the answers were "thats not right, hes perverted, he is this and he is that..so im asking why do they say that?? they wouldnt know unless they themselves have fell in love with someone older..i am confidant in my relationship...as i said we are happily engaged...if i wasnt confidant i wouldnt of shared a short storywith yall

Mostly it is just okay for a man to be older.because they mature very late then women them being older balances the relationship that is makes you both equally mature and able to handle difficult situations!
and it surely doesn't make a man a pervert.(at-least in most of the cases)
And as local god said that age is just a number it is just a number unless ther is so much age difference that you both are not physically or mentally compatible with each other!
So you know that at-least your man is not a pervert.stay happy knowing that!

There's nothing wrong with it as long as he loves you and cares about you. Good for you that you finally found the love of your life. I'd have agree with you when you mentioned about younger guys being immature. I've dated guys my age before and yes they were annoying and immature. Now, I have a boyfriend who's 2 years older than me but he's not immature and I'm happy with him. If you're happy then power to you, and I wish you all the best!

There's nothing wrong with an age difference....whichever way it goes. Meaning men can be younger as well. It simply depends on their respective ages.......and where they are in life.
However, I DO hope that you're not 17-18 and planning marriage anytime real soon. Please enjoy the fun of your youthful independence, before locking yourself into the rigors of marriage and family.

Girls mature faster than guys (normally) so i think it is natural to be attracted to older guys. I have dated guys up to 11 yrs older than me and never had a problem and never had anyone think anything of it.

If you are so confident about..Then what is making you to question. i'm from india and our culture is such that males are usually older for 5 - 10 years in a married life.
