Left side, huh? Well, the spleen, part of the small intestines, the stomach and the decending colon are over there. You also have an ovary and fallopian tube there as well, though they are lower and more toward the middle. The appendix is on the lower right side. Usually appendicitis starts as diffuse pain all over the abdomen. The pain then focuses on the lower right side of the abdomen, so it probably isn't that. It could be a tubal pregnancy, though that pain would tend to be lower as well.
You could have gas, you could have an ulcer, could be an inflamed spleen, could be a bunch of things. The info you supplied here isn't really enough to diagnose a problem without a complete medical exam. I think you should see a doctor.

See a physician and get checked out for a hernia and possibly
you are constipated, have pain from a full bladder that you are unable to empty, which is not unusual for women as the bladder can drop down after having several pregnancies. Prolapsed bladders cannot be completely emptied and can cause alot of
pain and general discomfort but can feel like pain in the abdomen.

could be food poisoning, could be gas, could be alot of things. have you gone poop today? could be you need to do that. call a doctor and be more specific with what is going on.
now for the whitty part: if you have something twisting your insides and squishing you, i would go to the doctor to check that you don't have a boa constrictor in your gut.

You must see a doctor. There are several things that feel this way and it's too hard to tell alone what is going on.
Tell the doctor it's an emergency and the pain is excruciating. If he won't see you, go to an emergency room.

Sometimes, Yoga exercises might relieve minor body aches or strains. Do regularly body movements around the trouble spot. If nothing improves, a professional medical help is needed.

You're constipated. Quit eating cheese and take some Milk of Magnesia. It will clean you out in within 24 hours.
