I lost my virginity to a guy that, despite all the red flags, I just ignored the fact that he was a manwhore. He just balls out told me he doesn't want me and the weight of my decision to sleep with him has just parked itself on my chest and I can barely breath. I cheated myself. Furthermore, I cheated my as yet unknown future spouse who I was saving myself for in the first place. How can you forgive that???!!!

It happens.
You can't change the past.

You haven't cheated your future spouse. If someone truly loves you, they'll love you for who you are. You are a package, your future spouse will acknowledge that and not criticize you for the things you have done in the past.

Learn from your mistakes.
Next time you see a red flag, run.

Yo Jack,,,she didnt know the guy was going to be such a jerk. I think that she is smart for seeing the truth. And also liked the way she expressed herself. Yes,,there were those red flags but maybe thinking things would be different with the two of you.Hey,,he may just come to his senses.Just move on & see what happens.Dont be so hard on yourself.Rarely is anyone with the first person that they ever loved. Its possible but thats the way life goes sometimes. If he doesnt come around (maybe if he matures) Then its his loss isnt it.

Some men have a lot of emotional problems and have trouble with committment; guys who are like that usually are afraid of being rejected, so they're the ones who often do the rejecting first.

Learn to forgive yourself, & just be careful next time...my sister did the same thing at age 19. She had sex, got pregnant, and had to get an abortion; abortions aren't cheap and it probably hurts a lot to have an abortion.

I'm not so sure you cheated your as yet unknown future spouse. . . a woman having some experience is usually a good thing. Did you like it while it lasted at least?

Learn to forgive yourself by learning from your mistakes. Don't be so hard on yourself, you are only human, and expected to make plenty of mistakes.

At least now you know WHAT NOT TO LOOK FOR in a man.

Good luck and prosper...*!*...

Dont beat yourself up over a mistake made. But DO learn from that mistake...Meaning, lead with your head......NOT your heart.
Bitter lessons make us stronger, and wiser!

you need to stop being so hard on yourself. Your only mistake was caring too much about somebody who did not value you enough. It is a hard lesson and I hope you learn from it, as painful as it is. DO NOT EVER COMPROMISE YOUR VALUES FOR ANOTHER! Please stop beating yourself up, things will get better.
good luck :)
