I have to plan a trip from Frot Lauderdale, Florida to Colorado Springs....how much will it cost?

i need to know how much it will cost and where to stop and what (if any ) sights to stop and see along and some good hotels to sleep at, places to eat. i have to go to colorada springs and back to Fort Lauserdale in 10 days with only 1000$ and i can either fly or rent a car.

FYI- plane tickets could blow or save my budget same with renting a car. i only have $1000

what abut flying there and driving back?

I just ran the distance. It is just around 4100 miles from Ft Lauderdale to CS and back. That means driving a minimum of 400 miles a day. Depending on your mileage (average now is 24-25), the gas alone will run you at least $400.
