The myths of Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti describe it as a spiritual creature with hypnotic powers over those it encounters. People these days tend to believe that if they can't capture it and put it in a zoo, then it must not be real. And yet most people are perfectly comfortable believing in angels. It seems to me to be much more consistent with the legends for Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti to be a magickal creature.
As for ghosts, as a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.
One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.
One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.
One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.
On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism
My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

Bigfoots? Chupacabras? Those are things that leave nothing to the imagination and can be explained in a million ways. What I am about to share with you guys is real but believing me is optional, the following things are REAL though.
Bigfoots can be someone or a misconception.
When I was 13 years old my mom told me to get some stuff in the kitchen. When I went to get them I saw a lady and she isn't wearing all white or anything of that sort. She looked liked any lady I've seen. She was doing stuff actually, washing something in the sink (I can't tell because she's not facing me and I'm short) so I didn't gave her any mind. After I picked up the stuff lady looked at me in a scary way. She turned and drew her face closer to me. I was scared stiff and dropped what I was holding. She then walked slowly towards the door. When i thought she was going to open the door she didn't... she walked right through a CLOSED door. I ran frantically to where the people are clutching my mom by the legs. I was so scared.
I turned to look at my right and I saw this same lady standing under the tree grinning at me with her hand extended pointing at me.
When I thought that is the last time I'd see her, last month I saw this lady again, angry as ever. This time she appears to be saying something. I can't figure it out though. She vanished like smoke when I went to reach for my pocket crucifix.
I was told that the lady I saw is a manifestation of the "urge" to see "spiritual entities". Whenever we "contact" spirits, we "distract" them from their "mission" (i.e. to roam the earth UNDISTURBED while they wait redemption) the moment their name is "called" in some way (i.e. ouijas, etc...) they think that their redemption has come. Now, if those who "called" them forth failed to give them the satisfaction they've been waiting for years they will then look for that "satisfaction" in that person... translation: make their lives a living hell. I experienced what I did because when I was young I've always wanted to see ghosts.
So I don't know if you will believe me but it all happened.
To those who "hunt" for ghosts or invoke spirits? I have one piece of advice. DON'T or else the "manifestation" will appear to you in a different way and in a form you cannot "appreciate".
If you have any similar experience, share them by all means.
Good question though! I really liked it. ^^

Have you been watching too much Scooby Doo? Just kidding. I have seen strange things before - one thing in particular scared me half to death. It is naive to think that we are so intelligent that we have the answers to everything existing in the world. Besides it takes some of the fun out of life to think that it's just not possible.

Well yes. I sometimes see shadow people. I also see mists or ectoplasms. I have heard voices say things like 'I am here' freaked me out to say the least. I have seen apparitions form out of nowhere and begin to bang on things right behind my sister. She began to run very fast. I have had things to move and turn on. email me if you want more... wayladuley@yahoo.com

When I was a child I saw things that could have been ghosts, but I could also have been hallucinating.
