Worldwide people who are supposedly professed: " white people" cling to their precious ethnic roots, then question why people in America have chosen to call theirselves

Labels only labels used to categorize us and put us in groups artificially. i dont like to categorize myself and I dont like that we use these categories in negative ways. I never thought of this when I was a child and perhaps that is the problem we teach our young that different is bad not just different

All Humans come from Africa and we all have common ancestors who had Dark or Black if you will skin due to the intensity of the sun where we evolved. As Humans spread across the Globe, we where changed by our environments, and so-called white people evolved in areas where the sun was not so intense and we Humans did not need the pigment in our skin to protect us from the intense rays of the sun. When people call me white ( I am also part Iroquois) I reply that I am actually kind of beige and that my ancestors were black.

I`m not an Irsh American ,I`m just an American.I`m Irsh decent.But I wasn`t born in Irland so that makes me American.
I really don`t think much about Blacks saying their African Americans.But think about this,white American ,Indian American and Black American.WE`re all Americans regardless of color.

Because they do not have melanin tissue in their skin which gives color to our skin. Their skin reflects most of white light with out refraction. Therefore, it is quite right to call them white. The colored people have these tissues and light is refracted and reflected and hence it is also quite right to call them colored. No big deal to fight on. The big deal is when we paint the angels, saints, etc our favorite color and say they are born that color. In fact, these supernaturals do not have colors.

SO IF THEY CHOOSE TO CALL US BLACK AND NOT AFRICAN IS IT ANY WONDER THAT THEY WOULD ALLOW THERESELF TO BE CALL WHITE!!!

You can also call white people "caucasian". Ask a bartender for one and you'll get a "white russian".

imagine with me that humans were created of flesh and bones without skin..would there be any discrimination..people tend to only see what's outside ,they don't make any effort to look at the colours of the hearts.

well, what other colour would you call a "white" person?
i don't know why we seem to differ ourselves by colour but it is some times that just happens.
