Oh if we could only go back to those days. Back then a man's word meant something and when people talked crap they had to back it up or pay the consequences. Today's world has been pussified by the U.N. and political correct BS.
I think if there were enough of them in modern times they could be effective. I think they might even kill off a few weasels with no honor, valor, or character such as: Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Al Gore, Kofi Anon, Ward Churchill, the majority of the media, and Michael Moore they would be doing a great service to the entire planet. That would be a good start in the process of at least giving America our nuts, guts, or balls back, we lost them around 1992.

Knights were the elite fighting forces, drawn mostly from the nobility, who could afford horses and armor.
In today's world, the selection of elite fighters is more egalitarian, and the equipment is necessarily far more updated to deal with bullets and bombs rather than swords and spears.

Certainly not in today's world with that ridiculous garb.
It would be nice to have someone ride to the rescue of those less fortunate.
