i need a serial number for my handspring visor pda?

and it's not under the the battery or anywhere on the unit. i don't think it came with one.

I had a handspring visor and I loved it. I seem to think the serial number was on a sticker on the back and it rubbed off eventually; very bad planning. If you got it from the manufacturer they might have a record of the number; if not you're out of luck. Palm owns them now.

take out the battery. the number is probably under it.
