I was 12 when I had my first kiss. Just remember, he may be just as worried about it as you! So, if he doesn't kiss you, it may be because he lost his nerve, not because he doesn't like you.

My daughter is 13 and is just now exploring boys and going to dances. I think a kiss at that age can be very sweet ...as long as you are comfortable with it. My advice is to enjoy being young and never compromise yourself and your values. Stay close to your parents and trust them above all. Good luck and enjoy this time in your life!

How about a kiss on the cheek? Or, just hold hands. It's still physical contact. You're only 12! It's okay and natural to like boys, but you've got the rest of your life to do all of that. Enjoy your youth, spend time with friends, spend time finding out who YOU are before you try to bring someone else into your life.
