its more important that you like yourself, and really you can never know if someone really likes you for you, because most of the time you don't even know who you are, so how can you know if they like you for you. they usually like you because of what you represent to them, and that may change all the time. Just try not to think about it to much!

Usually you know wen someone really likes you wen they pay attention to every single detail of your personality and in a short period of time they now how you act, what are you gonna say and stuff like that. They may surprise you sometimes in the most unusual way. That's how you really know someone likes you for you.
My recommendation is just be your self.

You really can tell how much a person cares for you if when you are sick they hang with you through it. I have found that in a crisis- you see who your true friends are.
A person that is willing to weather the bad times as well as the good, is a person that is there because they truly care.

I think that you can tell if they like you by the way they look at you, they way they touch you, the way they talk to you or rather talk with you. And you'll feel it in the way they kiss you.

Who cares? If you are happy with the relationship, why worry? If you aren't happy, dump them, life's too short to be with people who don't have what you want.

Dont sleep with them, don't loan them money, don't buy them gifts. If they still enjoy being with you, then they like you as is.
