My favorite cartoons when I was 5 were a tie between Tom & Jerry, The Smurfs, and The Carebears. We're close to the same age so I'll say yours was one of the three I listed.

I also loved watching the Marvel Comics Superheroes like Spiderman, Firestar, Iceman.
