Okay, so I want either an Ipod Nano or Video Ipod but I can't afford one since I don't have a job(since I'm only sixteen and no one wants me), and I'm already saving up my money for a church trip. I was going to ask my Dad to give me an Ipod for my birthday but he already let me do the build-a-bear at the build-a-bear workshop and he said that was part of my b-day present.
Then he got me a very crappy MP3 Player that only holds like fourty songs on it. So how do I convince him or my mom to get me one?I've already tried I'll help pay for it. But that didn't work. Any ideas?

You can figure out a way to earn money if you really WANT TO: yardwork, babysitting, dogwalking. Going to neighbors and asking to get paid to do THEIR chores...like she said: EXTRA chores that your parents don't want to do themselves....think of a need or go to a local business that you know and ask if they have any stuff they need done(determine your hourly rate BEFORE you ask)...yardwork, childcare...look in the paper want ads for the type of jobs that AREN'T GETTING FILLED

Ask your parents if you can do a certain amount of help around the house/yard in exchange for money to get an ipod nano.
oh, and ipod nanos are better. They have more features.
