Mandalay Bay is the best hotel in Las Vegas.

I agree the Wynn is the of the most remarkable hotels I've ever stayed at or seen. But the cost of the standard room cost me an arm and a leg.. If you got the money, do the Wynn. On the strip, I always thought Bellagio, Paris, Venetian, and Mandalay Bay was pimpin'.. there are some very posh joints off the strip as well (i.e. Four Seasons, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort) I haven't had enough time to see all there is in Las Vegas.

There are several. On or near the strip the top ones are Venetian, Wynn, Bellagio, The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, and the Sky Lofts at MGM. Downtown the nicest is Golden Nugget. Off the strip there is Red Rock Station, Green Valley Ranch, and the Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas. You won't be dissapaointed with any of them.

Venetian is the best, and you can sometimes get a room for $99 per night on priceline. Here's what you do....Go to priceline and bid $101 for a 5-star hotel in Las Vegas. Choose the strip area. If your bid is refused, add ANY other area to your choices and then increase your bid price. This works because the Venetian is the ONLY 5-star Vegas hotel that uses Priceline, so it is the only hotel you will get as long as you insist on a 5-star hotel. Just don't choose "resorts" as a region because you might get another hotel that way. As long as you use this method, you will have 5 tries to get a good price for Venetian.

Wynn Hotel & Casino is the best hands down..end of discussion. They have a Ferrari/Maserati dealership in the hotel, and it will cost you $10 just to walk through the showroom. The suites are absolutely 5 star, and it has a golf course.

I myself like the MGM Grand!!! It is in a good spot to stay on the Strip. When you go out the door, you can tell where you are on the Strip and which way to go to get where you want to. I just spent a week there 5/28 to 6/3 and It was a Blast!!! When you go, make sure you visit the Stardust! It will be blown down next year!

having stayed in the venetian and the wynn, i can honestly tell you the VENETIAN is the BEST. The wynn hotel is beautiful, but the customer service and standard rooms are more beautiful and comfortable at the VENETAIN. in fact, i am going to be staying in the venetian on june 20. i got a spa package included in the room price for the same price as a regular room in the wynn. nothin against the wynn (it is nice), but the venetian has yet to be topped.

It really all depends on what your taste is. Each resort is so varied. I personally would recommend the following: - Caesars Palace. Caesars is massive. There are so many wonderful shops and eateries. The architecture is beautiful. - Luxor. This Egyptian themed resort is a marvel. Wonderfully put together. For elegance, stay at the Bellagio.
