Well, you should be aiming for at least a 3.5 GPA. Since bio is usually taught to 9th or 10th graders, you should have time to bring up your GPA. However, science classes get even harder after bio, so be sure to work extra hard on your next science class. UofM also looks for ongoing improvement in GPA with each year, but that has to be with a rigorous college prep curriculum. So I hope you plan on taking more science, math and foreign language classes. Too easy a class load won't help your chances.

I am from MI and the friends I had that went to U of M pretty much got all A's...and B's. It is a tough school to get into. It depends on your overall GPA and your honors in highchool. ACT scores are important too. Good luck!
