I like songs that describe a situation, an event..... in this case....
lying awake watching the womon one loves. and just to have
your heart filled to the brim with overwhelming emotions.

IMHO it is the greatest of all time. Just mentioning the title puts the song into many peoples mind young and old. The sentiments expressed are what love is all about. There was a remake a few years ago, it's good but not as great as the Heatwave original. It's a pretty long song perfect for slow dancing.
