There aren't any direct object pronouns in the given sentences - I think the teacher wanted you to find the direct object nouns so you could change them to pronouns. 1. Los tengo (mis guantes = masc. plural) 2. Martin la tiene (su mochila = fem. sing.) 3. Ellos lo tienen (masc. sing.) 4. Luisa lo compra (masc. sing.) 5. Nosotros los compramos (if "shorts" is masculine). The direct object pronouns are lo/los and la/las and usually come before the verb. Good luck.
