Neither one is the victim, these are called victimless crimes. The "john" knows it's illegal, and so does the prostitute. They both are breaking the law, one propositioning, and the other accepting. Again, victimless crime.

Prostitution laws are generally grouped under the heading Crimes against public decency, or crimes against public morals. That is crimes which are thought to adversly affect the public good in some way. Littering, smoking in public, public urination, nude bathing at the beach, spitting on the sidewalk, etc.

The JOHN's wife and kids .... The prositute im sure has a kid or two , and she more than likely has a bad drug habit ..Looks like to me the state should help her get on her feet and help her get clean
instead of locking her up once a week ! cheaper in the long run !

actually now I think about it, it is the woman bcoz the bloke DOES have a choice, he can have a normal relationship in a warm and caring enviroment, she needs the money

Victimless crime. Maybe they should be charged with tax evasion for not collecting the tax on the transaction and income.

society-innocent children who could be watching, the neighborhood where the act is illegally commited, the taxpayers money in the judicial courts, spouses....I could go on and on.....
