The landlord can increase the rent as long as there is not a contract saying that he/she won't do so (ie- the landlord couldn't raise the rent during the tenure of your lease).

Your rent can be raised any amount the landlord wants to so long as you are not in a lease agreement and a minimum of 30-day notice is given to you of the rental increase.

That depends on where you live. Rent control ordinances are enacted at the city/county level, so you need to contact the Rent Board in your city to find out.

Landlords are allowed to set any price they feel like when your lease is up for renewal. If it is too high then move.

As much as he wants. It's his house---his property. He can charge whatever he wants for the use of it by any tenant. How much are you willing to pay a landlord to live in his house?

is your house or what ever worth more than are you paying average rent now Higher \lower.. find out then.... negotiate But be fair & honest even if you think the landlord is'nt Good luck
