What kind of movies do you like and why?

I really love strange avant garde movies. I love David Lynch films. ie: Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me, Eraserhead, etc... I guess I am drawn to the visual symbolism and the way the norm gets turned into something intangible by lighting, and as a photographer who loves to capture the bizarre in everyday life, I totally get a rush out of feeling confused and uncertain and slightly disturbed. I also like the fact that It takes me years to figure out what the movies are actually about. It's a challenge.

I like cheesy horror movies from the 70s and 80s (ie. Halloween and Friday the 13th) because they were original.

1. im 16 so teen movies obviously....not only the heart-warming stuff /chick-flicks(drumline, into the blue) but the one's w/ wack characters too (cruel intentions, o, scream)
2. movies w/ smart *** lines (bad boys)
3. action
i like anythin' except lotr and sci-fi movies (alien predator)

sci-fi like Tolkien's masterpiece LOTR, or George Lucas "Star wars", the best saga ever.
I also like action/ drama movies like Munich.

mostly funny ones, or romantic ones. because the scary ones ar not scary anymore. and the action ones are all the same.
