It is always possible for an egg to get through; however, if you've missed periods and the tests continue to be negative, get to a doctor. You don't say how old you are or how much weight you have gained, but as we age we gain weight differently, very often right in the middle. And in all 4 of my pregnancies, the discomfort and tightness under my breasts did not occur until my final 2-3 months by which point a pregnancy test would most certainly be positive. Is there a reason you haven't seen a doctor?

If you are big enough to "show" then even a cheap take at home test would show up positive. But yes you CAN get pregnant after having your tubes tied, I sat next to a woman at the airport last week who said she had had her's tied many years before (and did NOT get it reversed) and believe me when I say she was PREGNANT (due at the end of the month). But go to a doctor if you are really concerned there is a possibility that you did something to the test to get a negative result. Mostlikely you are not pregnant, and just gaining weight (probably NOT what you wanted to hear... but then again if you got your tubes tied you also probably don't want to hear you could be pregnant).

If your stomach is all the way up to your breasts, you would have to be very far along in your pregnancy and would definately be feeling fetal movement and not having a period. Your uterus slowly climbs up your abdomen as a fetus grows starting from the bottom up. It is possible to get pregnant if your tubes were tied but the chances are very slim. There is a chance of a tubal pregnancy (when a fetus begins to grow in the fallopian tube) but that would not effect your stomach and would cause extreme pain. See your Dr. if you are really having concerns.

My mother had her tubes tied when she was 24 (after having four kids). When she was 32 she found out that she had gotten pregnant, two months along, but had a miscarriage. The doctors said that as time passed the tubes became untied. I would go take a blood test to find out if you are pregnant, because it is possible!

Having your tubes tied does not mean that they cannot get untied. I had a friend which had them tied three years ago at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and now she is pregnant. Therefore, there is always the possibility. Now, if you are not pregnant, you may be having other issues which cause you not to lose weight, such as a thyroid problem.

You need to see a doctor
If you have been pregnant before you will know the signs, period loss breast tenderness, mood swings, nausea, and FETAL Movements, usually felt earlier in women who have had more than one baby
It could be a cyst or a tumor
See a doctor and ask for a re feral to a gynaecologist, have a thorough check up.

A tubligation is only promised to work for 7 years. But if they are cliped tied and burned your not supost to get pregant ever. Best thing to do is see a doctor and get a blood test done.

I've heard of cases where the tubes have fused back together, but it's very rare.
