well, since im a 6th grader, i can help u. i have been reading 9th grade novels since 3rd grade. if u want my personal opinion i like reading novels about like, eating disorders. those are always long, because u have to explain why the person thinks theyre fat, theyre journey through the disorder, and the recoverey. or, i like those stories about high school/ middle school stuff. like everyday stuff. think 'mean girls'. those are depending on what the plot, can be very easy to write, and very page-turning. also, those "i-just-now-died-and-im-telling-u-my-story-from-heaven" storys are always good also. they talk to u about a place that no one else knows about, which means that they cant correct u. also meaning that, u can make an entire world of your own. are there angels there? is it the exact same thing as earth? is it different for every person.
those are just a few ideas of mine.

Start with a main character, the protagonist. Figure out what they (he or she) want and how they are going to get it but in an unexpected way. Figure out who or what what is going to prevent them from getting it. Add more complications. Add more characters who either help or hinder the hero. Make it about something your readers would care about. Maybe your protagonist is trying to get enough money to buy a car or is entering a competition or trying to get into a particular college or win the love of a particular somebody. Make it something you know about so you can add interesting details. The more characters and complications you add the longer your story will be.

I consider in sixth grade I received dumped through a lady I concept was once my international. I did not consume two days after. I was once devastated. It feels like moreover to this you spot her on a consistent foundation. High college is problematic however try to speak to and ask out extra women. By going out with different women no longer most effective will you most probably recover from your present love ache for this one however she will also emerge as extra interested in you if she sees you will have received the awareness of alternative younger women. Best of good fortune guy!

start with an outline. Once the general storyline is hashed out, create characters with depth

details, details, details!!
what the weather is like.
the clothes the characters are wearing.
if they are on grassy hill? gravel road?
colour of their eyes? hair?
type of transport? (if there is any)
all these things can add alot of space to any story!

details make things long.
I like fantasy, action, and adventure
which would make a nice fantasy story.
I think it's easier to make up your own world.
