i like boy, and he's really cool and hangs out w/me. I dont want to ruin our friendship. what should I do?

Tell him you like him in a different way other than friendship and ask him if he feels the same. If he decides not to hang around you anymore, he was never your real friend in the first place. It's always hard to confess your truest feelings..even to your friend. Unless he's absolutely clueless, he probably suspects that you like him. I don't believe people can suppress their emotions indefinitely without it coming out in one way or another. He will know eventually...he'll know and may respond if he reciprocate the feelings just by watching your behavior around him or you'll tell him when the time is right or things will just flow naturally without any akward moment.
