When i started football i was the slowest guy . ive stuck to my coaches instructions do pushups everynight, maybe only 10 or 15 but do them. do lunges with your hands on your head, it wil make you faster and stronger. run or jog start slow and step it up as you go. and if you can jump rope start feet together then one foot at a time then cross your feet, just switch it up. fast feet are the key. eat pasta and breads, cereal in the morning. food is very important but not even close to hydration. im sure you have two-a-days.. two practices in one day, and if you do then bring three water bottlesdrink one before one between and one after. you will feel adifference. i always got dizzy and tired but the more you exercise the less you feel it. and if you are interested try wrestling, it is also a great sport, but more important it can keep you in shape for football.

There is no way to get into shape quickly.
You can "make time", so there's no need to panic.
Running too much will break down your body.

Ask your coach. He knows where you need improvement.

Make sure you are eating right.

You wouldnt put a crappy octane fuel in to a performance car and expect good results, so dont do it with your body!

do lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of suicides, jump on one leg up and down the bleachers (they're going to have you do this any way), run up and down the bleachers, do these things on the bleachers carrying a medicine ball above your head, all sorts of things

whatever you do, don't use trimspa.
bench press, lift weights, sit-ups/push-ups, jog, etc.
remember, start off slow, than pick it up everytime. also, push yourself, and you'll not only get in shape, but get great muscles!
