Are ministers allowed to oversee a friend in a breakdance competition? I wouldn't think so.

~Not sure about ministers, but priests can. They would, too, if they weren't so darn busy with the altar boys.

Why not? do you mean coaching them? do you mean spotting them? not sure what you mean by oversee. but why couldn't a minister be involved in a breakdance competition like anyone else? And who would make rules against it? Their church? The breakdance competition organizers? I just don't quite get your question.

By minister I asume that you mean a "preacher"?

There may not be any specific sin regarding a preacher present at a break dance competion, however, rap and rock music is often not God centered or God honoring. I would thnk, or at least hope, that a preacher being around such music or cultures would stick out like a sore thumb, nor should he be comfortable in that environment.

Is it a naked breakdance competition? If not..well I suppose even ministers can help others get their groove on.

Ministers are firstly human (male ones, note that!) and beside their policy they have the right to enjoy life... of course it has some limit, but I think it's ok.

Competition, theres nothing wrong with alittle of that... for all the right reasons as long as hes not doing it for all the wrong. Helping someone out is no problem.

I don't see why not. It's just a form of non-sexual, non sacrilegious dancing. Bust a move!
