SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California Treasurer Phil Angelides on Wednesday won the state's Democratic primary to become the party's challenger to Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in November.

Angelides won, but not by a huge margin, 48 to 43.
