Just wash them in warm dish soap! It won't harm them! Happy cleaning! bye

Don't.

DON'T ever clean a coin.

If you do, they will lose their worth for a collection.

Keep them the way they are.

Visit any numismatic website to find more about this.

However, if you want to live the experience, you can try soaking a coin (one american cent, perhaps) into ketchup overnight. Put another in coke. You can also try vinegar, or Brasso. You will get shiny coins, worthless for a collection, but shiny.

Half a lemon with baking soda has the acidity and the abrasiveness that can clean a coin.

Or perhaps you can try pineapple juice with crushed lemons. This sounds abrasive enough.

Whatever you do please use protective gloves, and don't forget to wash your hands exhaustively after handling coins for a while.

I think vinegar cleans coins. But pineapple juice with crushed lemons sounds kind of good.

I know the answer to this question...but you asked in such a rude way, that I decided I will not help you.

Too bad you didn't ask nicer.
